One of the biggest candy brands in Candyland, the Ferrara Candy Company offers a variety of some of the most well-loved and popular candies on the market.

It all begins with Italian immigrant Salvadore Ferrerra in Little Italy, Chicago. The year was 1908, and Salvadore was well-versed in all things food, of course. But had a particular love for Confetti, which is an Italian candy consisting of candy-coated almonds. 

He opened a little shop and shared his passion for candy with as many people as he could. The confetti candy opened the door to possibly many other ideas and candy! His passion propelled him to create some of the best candies of all time!

Made using a panned candy process which coats candy with layers and layers of a hard candy texture. 

He created Boston Baked Beans, Jujy Fruits, Chuckles and the famous Atomic Fireballs.

In 1962, the company took off when his creation of Lemonheads became a sensation. This prompted rapid growth for Salvadore and the Ferrara Company.

Throughout the years, the Ferrara Company has acquired some of the very biggest names in candy. The proud owners of Laffy Taffy, Nerds Candy, Trolli Candy, Runts, Lemonheads, Spree, Chuckles, Tic Tac, and so much more!
