Wonka Candy are Pure Imagination

Willy Wonka Candy-Candy of the Day

National Candy Month-June 18, 2017

The World of Candy just would not be complete without the whimsical, sweet, innovative candy of the Willy Wonka Candy Company! We must include Wonka Candy on the list for National Candy Month! This has proven to be a very difficult task. There are so many favorite candies from Willy Wonka!

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Retro Candy from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Where to begin... How about Laffy Taffy? Who could resist this long, chewy, stretchy, taffy? Laffy Taffy Candy is not only one of the yummiest taffy's around, but the sweetest part about Laffy Taffy are the jokes that come printed on every wrapper! Here's one for you, What does the splits but has no legs?( I was going to type it upside down,at the bottom of the page to make sure you read the blog, but okay, I won't.) The answer is Banana!!! I'm still "laffing", get it? Anyways Laffy Taffy Candy comes in some of the fruitiest flavors around, such as, Cherry, Strawberry. Grape, Banana, Blue Raspberry and Sour Apple. Laffy Taffy has been around since the 1970's and as all Wonka Candy was made to coincide with the movie Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory in 1971, starring Gene Wilder. Laffy Taffy has been popular since it launched, and also became even more popular with the 2005 Charlie And The Chocolate Factory starring Johnny Depp.

A Taste of Pure Nostalgia

I also must mention Bottle Caps! What would summer be without these old fashion candies! A pure taste of nostalgia that you can really chew! Bottle Caps are made to look like metal bottle caps and come in grape, cherry, root beer, cola and cherry flavors. They come in a cool, retro looking, cylinder shape package, that are just so easy to keep popping  in your mouth!

An Everlasting Memory

Another from the famed Wonka Candy collection are Gobstopper! These are an awesome type of a mini, magical jawbreaker, and are of course Willy Wonka's most favorite candy! Gobstopper consist of many layers and as each layer dissolves they reveal a different colour, and sometimes even a different flavour! Gobstopper are one of the coolest, retro candies around!

A Sweet Blast from the Past!

Some other famous Wonka  Candies include Nerds, Fun Dip, Runts, Sweetart, Pixy Stixs, Nerds Rope...Wow! A true testament of the sweet dreamer, Willy Wonka, and a fun stroll down memory lane for every candy lover young and old!
P.S. Just one more joke from Laffy Taffy:
Which candy can't go anywhere on time?
       Choco-late!
I bet your" laffing", or drooling over all this Wonka candy!
