Hubba Bubba Bubbble Gum is a very well recognized brand across the world, especially popular in Canada, Australia, Germany and the UK. There is some debate over the name Hubba Bubba. They say that soldiers from World War Two used the term "Hubba Hubba" to express approval. Another theory is that the word comes from the German word "Hubsche'', which translated into English means beautiful. I would assume that the word Bubba is meant to refer to bubbles. So maybe the gum really means Beautiful Bubbles! Who knows the exact history or meaning of the name, we just know that Hubba Bubba is a cool name and it means delicious, retro bubble gum and has the best potential for blowing huge, enormous bubbles!

Much to the dismay of its fans, in the later years of the 1980s, Hubba Bubba was discontinued with no real explanation as to why. No worries though, Hubba Bubba came back to the world with it's sweet, delicious vengeance in 2004. Also with some brand new flavours.
